This initiative aims to establish a specialty license plate to benefit Texas-based sea turtle conservation efforts. This idea is being led by Turtle patrol volunteers volunteering at Padre Island National Seashore who conceived the idea for a sea turtle specialty license plate while patrolling the beaches of the Padre Island National Seashore.
