Casa Tortuga's methodology is to develop relationships with other sea turtle organizations by volunteering our time and sharing our resources with them. Fostering relationships with other organizations through shared experiences allows for an authentic exchange where a good understanding of the needs of each organization can develop organically. Through productive collaborations, we are working to increase active participation in protecting endangered and threatened sea turtles around the world.

We promote the sea turtle's role in the earth's healthy ecosystem and steps to take now to raise awareness, preserve critical nesting and foraging habitat and protect the ocean. We emphasize, through education and communication, the broader issues of environmental protection and conservation, which impact the oceans and the future of sea turtles on earth.

The ocean takes up 78% of our planet–– the sea turtle, crossing oceans with it's great migrations helps us to be 78% closer to seeing ourselves as citizens of one global community. Sea turtles are ambassadors for global unity.
